On May 23, mayor Xu Xi of Shuntian City, South Korea and his delegation visited Beijing sponge city application integration industry innovation center (hereinafter referred to as "innovation center"). Pan Xiaojun, director of innovation center, Liu Fuying, executive vice president of Beijing Taining science and technology innovation Rainwater Utilization Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Taining science and technology innovation"), Zhao Jin, Secretary General of Zhongguancun green smart sponge city ecological home industry alliance, and Zhang Xiaoli, Deputy Secretary General of Zhongguancun digital building green development alliance participated in the reception.

　　
Director Pan Xiaojun explained to Mayor Xu Xi and his delegation the whole industrial chain collaborative innovation mode, positioning and function of innovation center, and introduced the innovation achievements of core members such as Taining science and technology innovation, Beijing Academy of water science, Guanglianda, Jinhe water in sponge City, smart city, zero carbon building and other fields. He also proposed that the innovation center, as the core of collaborative innovation of sponge city industry, is willing to enhance cooperation with South Korea in technology and industry, jointly hold international conferences, and provide a bridge for the collaborative innovation and development of industries of the two countries.

Mayor Xu Xi fully recognized the collaborative innovation mode of innovation center and the achievements made by member units. He said that with the support of Chinese governments at all levels, relevant technology industries have made great achievements, especially in Zhongguancun national independent demonstration zone, a number of leading technology enterprises like Taining science and technology innovation, Guanglianda, Zhongguancun sponge yard and new innovation subjects like innovation center have emerged, which is worth learning from South Korea. He also expressed his willingness to further exchange and cooperation with the innovation center and its member units to achieve win-win results.

As a South Korean representative, Shuntian city has built the South Korean garden of China Beijing World Horticultural Exposition. In addition to representing the South Korean government to participate in the world horticultural exposition, another main purpose of this visit is to investigate the representative enterprises of Zhongguancun in the field of ecological independent innovation. The investigation has achieved good results, laying a foundation for the innovation center to introduce advanced technology and industries of South Korea and realize overseas expansion.
