The planning and construction of the sub city center of Beijing is a major decision and deployment made by the Central Committee of the CPC at the core of Comrade Xi Jinping. The innovation center is an industrial collaborative innovation organization approved by Beijing Municipal Bureau of economy and information technology. Since its establishment, the innovation center has successively established Zhongguancun sponge City Engineering Research Institute, established Zhongguancun green wisdom sponge city ecological home industry alliance, participated in the construction of Beijing Key Laboratory of urban water cycle and sponge City Technology, applied for and approved the total production of Zhongguancun sponge city The industry chain service platform has built a complete sponge city industry chain ecosystem.

Gathering industry resources to provide support for more than half of national pilot projects in sponge cities

The innovation center actively gathers and develops industrial chain innovation resources, cooperates with 8 universities and scientific research institutes, 6 listed enterprises, 15 leading enterprises, 10 industry associations and industrial alliances, and more than 150 upstream and downstream enterprises in the industrial chain to form the core layer, partner layer and radiation layer of the innovation center. Through collaborative innovation mode, the innovation center has participated in the construction of 17 sponge city national pilot projects in Jiaxing, Qingdao, Chizhou, Xining, Suining and other countries in different capacities, with rich experience and leading advantages in the aspects of sponge city intelligence, sponge city operation and maintenance, and sponge city industrialization.

The landing of the sub center of Beijing is an important measure for collaborative innovation mode output of sponge city industry of innovation center. In the future, the innovation center will continue to play the role of core aggregation and bridge, relying on the construction of the sub center and Tongzhou District sponge city to form an industrial cluster, and strive to build the world's leading sponge City Industrial Innovation Center, technology innovation center and international exchange center.
