On the morning of December 11, 2019, Su Guobin, deputy district chief of Tongzhou District of Beijing, Du Wei, director of Tongzhou District Economic and Information Bureau, Wu Tao, director of Tongzhou District Investment Service Center, and Guo Feng, executive deputy director of Zhongguancun TongZhou Park Management Committee, visited Beijing sponge City Application Integration Industry Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as "innovation center") for investigation. Pan Xiaojun, director of innovation center and relevant department heads participated in the reception. The two sides made in-depth discussions on the development plan of sponge industry and the development of Tongzhou's key regions, and preliminarily reached the intention of strategic cooperation.

At the symposium, director Pan Xiaojun gave a detailed report on the construction background and development of the innovation center. He said that the innovation center is an industrial collaborative innovation subject established by implementing the national "sponge city" and "made in China 2025" policies and approved by Beijing Municipal Bureau of economy and information technology, aiming to focus on promoting the R & D and industrialization of the frontier technology, key generic technology and their products of sponge City, and promoting the development of sponge city industry. Since its establishment, the innovation center has gathered universities, scientific research institutes, industry leaders, national and provincial and ministerial level laboratories to carry out collaborative innovation cooperation, and has many leading technical achievements at home and abroad in the fields of smart sponge, advanced instruments and equipment, environmental protection new materials, etc.

　　
Su Guobin, deputy district chief, fully affirmed the achievements of the innovation center, and recognized and praised the green sponge concept and ecological city construction advocated and practiced by the center. At the same time, he pointed out that Tongzhou District government is also actively exploring the innovative mode of government enterprise cooperation, increasing efforts to support the construction of industry innovation platform, strengthening the close cooperation between enterprises and district government, and creating a good business environment.

In view of the construction of sponge city in Tongzhou District, director Pan Xiaojun suggested that the three-dimensional support of planning guidance, industrial support, intelligent management and control, cluster effect, green finance and international cooperation should be used to realize the high-quality construction and operation and maintenance of sponge City, and promote the development of sponge city industry in the region.

The chief of the Soviet Union highly approved the proposal of director Pan Xiaojun. He said that the construction would promote the innovation and development of local industries, meet the development needs of Tongzhou District, welcome the innovation center to actively participate in the construction of Tongzhou sponge City, promote and apply the latest technical achievements, and promote the development of related industries.
